The Bristol Revunions is the University of Bristol's premier (and only) sketch comedy troupe.
We spend our time writing and devising comedy sketches in the main, although in our free time we like to sketch sketchy-looking people and host the odd stand-up show.
Evidence of Revunions (Revs)' existence dates back to 1953, making us the oldest performing arts society at the University of Bristol. However, in the late 1980s, disaster struck - legend tells that the society's treasurer absconded to Paraguay, taking Revs' takings with him. As a result, the society entered a long period of dormancy, which only ended when Revunions was resurrected in 2008.
Since then, we've gone from strength to cliché, taking a show each year to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and performing a veritable plethora of shows in Bristol herself.
If that sounds like funny, we'd love to have you aboard. During the academic year, we run weekly workshops at the University's Students' Union building on Queen's Road, and they're a great way to get involved and have a laugh.
To find out when and where our next workshop will be held please get in touch using one of the links above.
