Hello! We're the Bristol Revunions (also known as Revunions or affectionally as Revs), the University of Bristol's sketch comedy (and stand-up) society. We encourage people to get involved in performing and writing sketch comedy in a friendly, welcoming environment.
We run free, weekly workshops in the Bristol SU! Whether you want to write, perform, learn how to tech, try stand-up or even try a bit of everything, we encourage people to take part in all aspects of producing a sketch show and/or create your own comedy! Every month we put on a ‘scratch night’ where we perform newly written sketches. Anyone and everyone can get involved with these, either by writing sketches or performing – or both, why not!
As well as this we also put on shows in Leeds, Cambridge, Durham and Oxford and regularly shows up to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. You can read a 4 and a 5 star review for our 2019 paid show, ‘Party’ here, and a 4 star review for our free show, ‘Road Trip’, here.
